Golden Coast Cares Hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Talk and Screening

On Thursday, 29 October 2026, Golden Coast Cares brought colleagues together at Heritage 100 for a Breast Cancer Awareness talk and screening. The programme offered an opportunity to learn more about breast cancer, discuss the importance of early detection and connect with health professionals.

The session focused on key facts about breast cancer, including early signs and risk factors. Participants could ask questions and receive guidance from health professionals. On-site screening was also available to interested staff.

The programme reflects Golden Coast Cares’ commitment to supporting the wellbeing of our community. By creating space for conversation and sharing practical health information, we can help people feel more informed about the steps they may take and where to seek professional advice.

We are grateful to the health professionals who led the session and supported the screening, and to everyone who took part. Thank you as well to our colleagues who joined in the spirit of the event by wearing a touch of pink.

Breast cancer awareness matters beyond a single event. We encourage everyone to continue learning, speak with a qualified health professional about any concerns, and support those affected by breast cancer.

Know more. Act early. Support one another. Golden Coast Cares.
